25th Oct 2009: Manchester City - Fulham

MANCHESTER CITY – FULHAM
Back from a draw against Aston Villa, manager Hughes says "Given the circumstances going down to 10-men it is always difficult. But we stuck at it and weren't to be denied and got something out of the game that maybe last year we wouldn't have been able to."
Today Man city is looking for an important home victory as they are just 2 points away from the 4th position: Tottenham lost the game of yesterday and Arsenal will play away from home.
Bellamy, Adebayor and Toure will be back while Robinho still out

FULHAM
Bobby Zamora inspired Fulham to a triumphant 130th anniversary match.
Zamora struck his second Barclays Premier League goal of the season before setting up a second for strike partner Diomansy Kamara as Fulham climbed to 12th in the table.
Hodgson is not happy anyway: "We thought we could get better in the second half so the first goal changed nothing from a tactical point of view, although the mood did. I wasn't unhappy with the team and would have expected them to keep playing the same way."

D Murphy - Knee Injury (5 Weeks)
A Johnson - Groin Strain (1 week)
D Etuhu - Knee Injury (1 day)

HEAD TO HEAD
Man City 1-3 Fulham

VERDICT
Manchester will have almost the full squad while Fulham will miss some key player like Murphy, Johnson and Davies that played during the last head to head match.
I see Manchester win here.
