26th september 2009: Liverpool - Hull

LIVERPOOL

Fernando Torres scored twice as Liverpool held off a brave fightback from West Ham United to claim a deserved victory in a five-goal thriller at Upton Park.

A boost of confidence as they are playing great now, unbeaten from 3 games and have kept 6 points less than Chelsea.

"We showed character and the team has confidence. Four wins in a row means that the team is in good shape. It was a very competitive game, they were working very hard too, but we gave them hope. It was difficult, but we did enough to win." Benitez said.

VERDICT

Liverpool shouldn’t have difficulty on grabbing the 3 points on this match, Torres is making the goals the team needs, and Hull have one of the weakest defence of the league. Liverpool is on good record home and able to score always at least 1 goal while Hull is far from the past season's form with a good away record capable to stop stronger teams.
