7th july 2010: Germany - Spain

Europe has secured a finalist in the FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010: Germany or Spain. The ticket will be decided in a rematch of the final of Euro 2008. On that occasion the Red won with a goal from Fernando Torres. Two years later the situation is different, even though they remain on the payroll 19 players who lived through that final (eight German and 11 Spanish). The Reds expect to be champions but has failed to repeat that level of play. Now the Germany, with a new team, dazzled by his football that Franz Beckenbauer himself has said: "Germany has never played like this!". And is on a roll.

Although Germany with 13 goals is the highest-scoring team in the tournament, statistics show that Spain is the most attacking combination. If the numbers were exact science in football, we would have secured a thrilling final. Germany comes after had dispatched two heavyweights England, eighths, and Argentina in the quarter, with spectacular scores, 4-1 and 4-0 respectively. He also endorsed four goals for Australia in the group stage and are showing a fast and colorful game, with deadly counterattacks.

For its part, Spain, which has already made history in the competition, having first reached the semifinals in its history, has won its last three games with a goal difference and only showed his football playing and combination, times. It is true that it has met with very defensive teams that have left him no room for creativity but it seems to need some spark in the Spanish line.

Still, the signs are that Vicente del Bosque will continue to rely on their starting lineup, including the Torres, who has not yet been released as a scorer in South Africa. Joachim Loew will have to find replacement for one of the revelations of the tournament, Thomas Mueller, and could resort to Trochowski, Toni Kroos and Cacau.

The spicebets engine says Spain to win, the odds are ok take the risk.
